Dear Guests,
I am Becky Herl, the innkeeper here at the Pierre Street Inn. I grew up in the wonderful town of Colby, Kansas. After high school, I attended the Art Institue of Colorado's Culinary Arts program. I then transferred to Fort Hays State University to seek my degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, which I am still working to obtain.
The past year in school it became my dream to own and operate a bed and breakfast. It gives me the freedom to express my passion for everything food and hospitality. As I started planning the Pierre Street Inn, it became very important to me to help support other local small businesses and Manhattan has some very special ones. Through my love of food, environment, and people I have created a one of a kind sustainable atmosphere that really highlights the best of Manhattan.
I have had a recent addition to the Pierre Street Inn. I had my daughter Paisley Jane with my boyfriend Ethan in March 2011.
